We are delighted to welcome Jörg to our team as of October 2025!

His journey with SAP began back in 1996 as a working student at a large telecommunications group. At the time, SAP R/3 3.0c was the current release – and it was there that Jörg developed his first interfaces with ABAP. It became apparent early on that technology and process understanding go hand in hand for him.

A significant chapter in his career led him to an SAP partner, where he specialized in the CRM area. Whether sales, marketing, setting up call centers, or integrating third-party systems: Jörg knew how to optimally combine technology and business requirements. In parallel, he was involved for ten years in the speaker team of the DSAG working group for Sales & Marketing.

In his later, self-employed phase, his focus shifted toward mobile applications for production and logistics. As an architect, he developed, among other things, the SAP connector for a well-known German low-code tool – a solution that made the path into the digital future easier for many companies.

Through various positions in service and marketing, Jörg found his way back to his ABAP roots. As an innovation manager, he was responsible for solution development at an SAP partner, trained new employees, and supported numerous S/4HANA projects as a technical project lead or mentor. In recent years, his professional focus has increasingly shifted toward production and logistics – in particular the integration of machines and the implementation of the concept of data-driven manufacturing in modern IIoT environments.

Jörg lives out his passion for innovation not only in his day-to-day project work:

He has initiated hackathons to promote know-how, is an active open source author, organizes the SAP Stammtisch, and regularly takes the stage as a speaker at conferences such as ABAPConf.

As of October 2025, Jörg will pass on his extensive experience and know-how to our customers as a trainer with a focus on modern ABAP. His goal: to make companies fit for the future – with data-driven real-time processes, IIoT scenarios, and the intelligent use of AI in the SAP environment.

We warmly welcome Jörg and look forward to taking the next steps toward the future of SAP ABAP together with him! 🚀
