FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions About Our Training Courses

In this blog, you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions about our training courses. If you cannot find an answer here, please send your question to info@brandeis.de.

Which SAP system is used for the training?

We generally deliver our training on the SAP systems of our customers. To make sure that all prerequisites can be met, prior coordination is necessary. Whatever we need for the exercises from a development perspective, we bring along ourselves. For example, we create the required development objects ourselves before the training starts.

There is the option to prepare the exercises in advance and thereby check whether all system prerequisites are met. Depending on the exercise, we can provide a corresponding repository for abapGit beforehand.

Please keep in mind that we trainers need to access your SAP landscape. Usually, access is granted to us for this purpose, or a dedicated laptop with the required access is provided for the duration of the training.

How do you get the materials?

At Brandeis, we have our own training portal. There we set up a dedicated training room for you and grant all participants access to it. It contains the training materials, exercise examples, and more. A download of the training materials as a PDF is possible.

The training rooms remain available to you for at least two years afterwards and can also be extended if needed.

Since the training takes place on your own systems, all exercise examples belong to you after the training as well.

How and where is the training conducted?

We always prepare our training courses as closed training, which can be conducted either on site at the customer's premises or remotely. Both approaches have advantages and disadvantages.

Every now and then we also offer open training courses at locations of our choice. Check our training catalog on our website regularly: https://www.brandeis.de/events/.

In open training courses, participants work on their own systems. For this reason, not all of our training courses are suitable for this format if collaboration between participants is required.

Remote training can be arranged so that, for example, a course scheduled for 5 days is conducted over 10 mornings, possibly spread across several weeks, so that employees do not have to be fully pulled away from their day-to-day business.

Under certain circumstances, we can also offer pure eLearnings (e.g. just slides + exercises, possibly with videos), where the trainer is available to you at previously agreed times.

Can we influence the content of a training course?

In principle, we are able to offer you individual training courses. Our training portal makes it easy for us to include parts of other training courses for you or to put together a suitable mix from various courses.

We often notice during the training that interest in a topic from another course arises, and we can then also bring in and cover such topics for you at short notice. This may not work for all exercise examples, though.

Just get in touch with us.

How can I book a training course or put one together individually?

You will find our training offerings on our website https://www.brandeis.de/training/. There, for each of the listed training courses, you have the option to submit a training request.

For questions or if you would like an individual selection of topics, please send an email to training@brandeis.de.
